Artist Sabapathy
Artist. Sabapathy, a divine artist, eventually says that "learning is never getting veins in any time". He is a master in Painting artist, Astrologer, Vasthu Consultant, Sthapathi (Temple Architect), and Tamil poet. He was born and lives in Madurai, Tamilnadu. His dedication to "ART" make him a "LIVING LEGEND". He has driven in this divine work for more than 35 years now.
Artist Sabapathy specializes in Oil painting on Both Traditional artworks like God And Goddess of Hindu religion And Modern Art like portraits, Still, life, landscape, and abstract Artworks, Watercolor painting, Acrylic painting, and Enamel medium painting works. He accepts Orders for Customized paintings from Individuals as well as organizations. Most of his artworks are drawn in many temples around Madurai like ARULMIGU IMMAYILUM NANMAI THARUVAR temple( near Periyar bus stand), THIRUPPALAI KRISHNA TEMPLE, BATHRAKALI AMMAN TEMPLE( North Masi street, Madurai).
JOURNEY OF ART
Artist Sabapathy started his art career at age of 16. He decided to be with LEGENDARY ARTISTS C.KONDIAHRAJU, T.S.SUBBIAH sir, kovilpatti in 1981 and
LEGEND V.K.S.SHIVAM, Tanjore. Both Masters tuned his style of art and made him a unique artist in this field.
He greatly admired in artworks of S.M.Pandit and follow his art techniques and styles.
Most of Artist Sabapathy's artworks are across many countries like Singapore, the US, the UK, and Malaysia. His unique style of detailing his paintings' artworks and spirituality was incomparable. Especially the spiritual face of every DEVI(Goddess) was unique.No one can deny that he is a blessed artist with spirituality.
Artist Sabapathy was the designer of " GOLDEN LOTUS " in Meenakshi Amman temple.
He also designed the "Sculpture of Pegasus, the winged horse" at MGR Memorial (MGR, former CM of Tamilnadu) on Marina Beach, Chennai, and designed "the statue of NANDHI " at the entrance pudhumandapam in Meenakshi Amman temple.
Many of his god and goddess artworks were based upon the SHILPA SASTRA OF HINDU TRADITION. Because he strongly believes that the Rule-breaking of sastras can surely destroy the divine artist.
Artist Sabapathy wishes to create his own Academy of fine arts to celebrate the Indian traditional style of artwork all over the world.
